The Friday edition

One email on Thursday evening, each week your metro has something to send: Jumu'ah times for Friday, the weekend's events, new places and deals. You confirm by email first, and one click unsubscribes.

The edition covers the whole metro: its masjids, its events and its new places. A metro marked "nothing to send yet" has no Jumu'ah times, events, new places or deals with us this week: its first edition comes the Thursday it has some.

A quick check by Cloudflare that a person is sending this.

Nothing is sent until you confirm. Your address is used for this email and nothing else.

Already get it? The link at the bottom of any edition adds a metro, changes them or unsubscribes.

What we keep, and why

What we keep
Your email address and the metros you choose, with the dates you signed up, confirmed and left. Nothing else.
What we do not
No name, no account, no location. No record of whether you open an edition or what you tap in it: no tracking pixels and no tracked links.
Why so little
Getting a Muslim community email can say something about a person's faith, which several states on this coast treat as sensitive. So we keep as little as we can, for as short a time as we can.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. Your address is then deleted at once, and a scrambled fingerprint of it stays so we never mail you again. A sign-up you never confirm is deleted after 7 days.

Every edition has a one-click unsubscribe link, honored at once. Paid items in an edition are labeled Sponsored. The privacy policy says the rest.
